SITE ENVIRONMENT: Bukid. At the base of Mataas ng Bundok DISTANCE AND DIRECTION FROM: 5 km east of Lipa City, Batangas ACCOMMODATION: Our Ranch is a distinctively “Christian” camp. As a ministry of Asian Children’s Foundation, Inc. in the Philippines, the Redemption Ranch Cowboy Camp is designed to facilitate churches, church groups, schools, etc. to provide an authentic Christian Camp atmosphere with an American Western “Cowboy” theme. We hold to high standard of Christian character and dress code that would bring honor to our Lord. Nestled in the foothills of the majestic “Mataas ng Bundok” we renamed “Apache Bluff” just a few kilometers east of Lipa City, Batangas RRCC provides the perfect setting for a quite restful retreat from city life and offers a bountiful testimony of GOD’s wonderful creation which differs greatly from the “concrete jungle”, made by man where many guests live daily. We also provide camps for street children and poor squatter children from our “Bread of Life” Feeding Centers in Manila and other locations. Our Ranch has a large 2-story “Ranch House” which has bunk beds which sleeps 157 campers. Each bed has mattress and clean sheets, pillow w/case, and blanket is provided for you comfort. There are four CR’s in the Ranch House. Beside the Ranch House near the OK Coral we have a new CR which has 10 water closets and 10 showers. Our new “Cowboy Town” which looks like an old American Western town can accommodate 64 guests. All the rooms, i.e.; Bank, Assay Office, General Store, Pokey (Jail) and Boots & Saddle Shop are equipped with triple bunk beds. Each bed in Cowboy Town also has a mattress, pillow w/case, sheets and blanket. We also have two CR’s in Cowboy Town and an a/c room called Trail’s End Hotel. The Hotel has one large queen size bed and double bunk bed for family use. It also has it’s own private CR. There is a large dining hall seats 150 and Cowboy Chapel with the seating capacity of 60 and a large open air tabernacle that can seat 200 plus. We can cater your meals or you may provide your own meals and utilize our dining hall and kitchen facilities. There is a small daily charge for using our kitchens and dining halls. All kitchen equipment and utensils are included. All funds for staying at our Ranch go to facilitating our feeding centers here in the Philippines, our orphanage and feeding centers in Myanmar and India. PROVIDED: Bed linens, sheets, pillows w/cases and blankets for 227 beds. CATERING: The Ranch staff can provide the food on site or each group has the choice to bring their Own food and cooks and use the Camp facilities. We have one large dining hall (seats 125) w/kitchen and dirty kitchen. Also one small dining hall (seats 60-70) w/kitchen and dirt w/kitchen. FACILITIES ON SITE: Large open air tabernacle with full length basketball court. A smaller Cowboy Chapel which can seat up to 70 campers. CR’s inside the Ranch House both up and down stairs. Two large CR’s with showers located behind the open air tabernacle and beside the Ranch House. Cowboy Town is an authentic like old American western town. There is the Long Branch Saloon where you can get soft drinks, soveniers,halo-halos, banana/mango shakes, etc. OUTDOORS: The Ranch has it’s own barn and coral where our livestock is kept. We have horseback riding and real live rodeos. Our rodeos are held in downtown Cowboy Town. Some of the rodeo events are, chicken chasing, stick horse racing, pig chasing, barrel bull riding, calf roping, etc. FACILITIES OFFSITE: Just behind the Ranch are hiking trails to Mustang Ridge and Apache Bluff. Apache Bluff would be for the advanced climber whereas Mustang Ridge would be for the novice hiker. Both hikes propose a beautiful view from the top. * Taal Volcano is accessible from the town of Belete only 15 minutes from the Ranch site. You may take a day trip and travel via bangka to Taal Volcano and hike up to the volcano rim. * Lipa City is only minutes away from the Ranch and has 3 malls and many restaurants. Lipa is famous for it’s “night market” that offers Filipino tradition and “tawad” items after dark via street vendors. FIRST AID: Director Trained in First Aid PUBLIC PHONE: No public phone on site.
