KUBO CAMP FOR CHRIST
Location: Mataas na Burol, Silang Cavite - the location is almost Tagaytay City SITE ENVIRONMENT: Situated in a small hill, surrounded by many fruit trees, flowers and ornamental plants
DISTANCE AND DIRECTION FROM: If riding a private vehicle from Manila, take Emilio Aguinaldo Highway, at km 48, turn left to Daang Balite (old gasoline station) then take the concrete road to Mataas na Burol. When you reach Unida Church, turn right to the alley leading to Kubo Camp for Christ. If from Tagaytay, when you reach km 48 at E. Aguinaldo Highway, turn right then take the concrete road to Mataas na Burol. When you reach Unida Church, turn right to the alley leading to Kubo Camp for Christ. If riding a public vehicle from Manila, alight at km 48 in E. Aguinaldo Highway then ride a tricycle to Mataas na Burol Unida Church, then turn right, walk towards the Kubo Camp for Christ less than a hundred steps away ACCOMMODATION: Guests will be sleeping in Bahay-Kubos, each kubo can accommodate 3-4 people. There is a kitchen with 4 burner gas stove with gasul tank, 6 comfort rooms (3 for each gender), there are many huts inside the campsite aside from the sleeping quarters where the guests can stay to reflect/ rest PROVIDED: Sleeping bags and pillows are provided. Kitchen utensils are provided CATERING: Self-catered. FACILITIES ON SITE: One session Hall, bonfire site, there are 4 Kubos for Focused Group Discussions, 10 cabins that can accommodate 3-4 people, there’s spacious ground where they can play outdoor games such as volleyball or badminton OUTDOORS: Play ground area,car-park,Volleyball net is available. FACILITIES OFFSITE: Camp site is 5km away from Tagaytay. FIRST AID: It is available. If camp nurse is needed we can also request a camp nurse for the guests. PUBLIC PHONE: None DISABLED FACILITIES: Ramps are available for people using wheelchairs PROGRAMMING: We can offer Dialogue Education Training, we can also host programs/ lead community singing or facilitate Bible Study Workshops, Financial Management, Kairos World Mission Course, We can help them develop modules on different topics or camp curriculum, we can assist them in running camps for youth and professionals.
